The National Security Service announced the arrest of the terrorist Abu Hiba, years after his terrorist crimes.
The agency stated in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, “With accurate intelligence information and field follow-up that continued for months, the Iraqi National Security Agency was able to overthrow one of the most dangerous leaders of the terrorist organization ISIS, nicknamed (Abu Hiba), who is wanted according to Article 4 of Terrorism.”
He added, “After further investigation, he confessed to belonging to the ranks of the terrorist organization within what was called (Wilayat al-Fallujah) and held the position of security official for the state. He also confessed to the existence of a cemetery containing the bodies of martyrs from among the members of the security services and unarmed citizens whom he had captured and participated in killing.”
He pointed out that, “With his guidance, the location of the cemetery was discovered within the Fallujah district, and the remains of the victims, numbering 3 martyrs, were extracted. Investigations are still ongoing to reach the rest of the victims.”
