The Ministry’s official spokesman confirmed, “The project to install smart meters has undergone extensive studies in advance from the Ministry to examine the networks of the selected areas, which are 13 areas with their loads, networks, and lines. Now we will proceed with signing 13 contracts in carefully selected areas, some of which are in the capital, Baghdad, and others in the governorates, for the smart transformation of the electrical network.” “.
