The US State Department announced that the United States stands with Iraq against the Iranian attack that targeted the city of Erbil.
The ministry stated in a blog post on the “X” platform, “Iran knows, Iraq knows, and the world knows: The reckless Iranian missile attack in Erbil led to the death of 4 civilians, including an infant and wounded 17.”
She added, “We stand with Iraq, which described the Iranian regime’s allegations that it targeted the Mossad headquarters as completely unfounded.” Once again we offer our condolences.”
She continued, “Now, the Iranians are faking photos and spreading misleading information to support their claims, which is just another reminder that the Iranian regime will not hesitate to lie in order to cover up its destabilizing behavior.”
