Baghdad/Nina/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani announced the preparation of the necessary emergency plans to ensure the continued supply of electricity to citizens in an efficient and continuous manner.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement, “Today, Sunday, Al-Sudani chaired a meeting of the Service and Engineering Effort Team, during which a comprehensive review took place of the implementation progress of the projects undertaken by the Effort Team, in addition to following up on the completion rates in the projects approved in 2023 in Baghdad and the governorates.”
The statement added, “The meeting witnessed the discussion of the financial position of the team’s projects, the percentages of the disbursed and remaining amounts, the amounts recorded in progress and financing, and a discussion of the role of the Engineers Syndicate, which is represented in engineering supervision in accordance with the implemented specifications of what is decided for each project.”
He continued, “The meeting also discussed the work paths according to the specific allocations for the projects, and the service effort team’s use of its capabilities and capabilities to complete the incomplete projects, and initiate new projects in the second half of next year, in addition to meeting the service aspects according to the priorities and necessities that are in contact with the lives of citizens.”
Al-Sudani referred to the files of support for the service and engineering effort team for the ongoing work in the field of electrical energy, the necessary preparations for next summer, and the preparation of the necessary emergency plans to ensure the continued supply of electrical energy to citizens in an efficient and continuous manner./End p.
