The Baghdad Municipality announced, on Sunday, its preparations for the rain wave expected to begin tomorrow, Monday, while confirming its readiness for any emergency.
The Director of Relations and Media of the Baghdad Municipality, Muhammad Al-Rubaie, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Great preparations are being made for the sewage department, the Baghdad departments, and all the sewage departments in the capital, Baghdad, at the level of staff and machinery,” stressing that “there is no problem in the event of rain, no matter how Their precipitation rates were
Al-Rubaie added, “During the current year, the Baghdad Municipality took control of the rainy season, through the efforts of its workers, and also under the directives of the Prime Minister and the Mayor of Baghdad, as a result of complete and continuous preparation during the previous stage.”
He reassured citizens that “the secretariat’s staff is fully in control of the rain and is prepared for any emergency,” stressing that “the secretariat is proceeding with its projects and continuing its preparations.”
