Kut / Nina / The local government of Wasit launched a wide campaign to plant flowers and afforestation throughout the governorate, with direct implementation by municipal departments.
The Governor of Wasit, Muhammad Jamil Al-Mayahi, told the Iraqi National News Agency: Nina /: “The campaign aims to plant and flower all squares in city centers, accompanied by a campaign to remove waste and rubble from public squares and roadsides, and rehabilitate them to turn them into green areas.”
He called on citizens and volunteer and youth teams to contribute to this campaign for a greener, more beautiful, cleaner and more refined Wasit./ End
