The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a controversial aid group backed by the US and Israel, said on Monday it had began distributing food in the devastated Gaza Strip. The group’s executive director resigned Sunday over fears the aid rollout would not be able to adhere to standards of “humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence”.
