Yesterday, Friday, a unified prayer was held, bringing together imams and preachers of mosques and Husayniyat in Baghdad, under the auspices of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The unified prayer brought together Sunni and Shiite imams and preachers of mosques and Husayniyas, covering the areas of Baghdad and the Baghdad Belt, under the auspices of the Prime Minister’s Office/Dialogue and Rapprochement Affairs, under the slogan (Husayn, peace be upon him, unites us).
The Prime Minister’s Office sent invitations to the Sunni Endowment and the Mohammedan League, and a closed meeting was also held with the imams of the mosques, and the following was agreed upon:
_ Stay away from political speeches.
– Focus on supporting the government’s reform efforts.
_ Work as a team to solve problems in any field area.
_Reciprocal visits between Husseiniyas and mosques.
Focus on the religious and reformist aspect.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, these programs will continue in Baghdad and the provinces.
