Baghdad / NinaAl-Nasr defeated its American counterpart, Inter Miami, 6-0, this evening, Thursday, at the “Kingdom Arena”, the new home of Al-Hilal, in the second match of the friendly season of the Riyadh Cup, held in the Saudi capital.
The match was known in the media as “The Last Dance” as it was the last clash between Cristiano Ronaldo, the leader of Al-Nasr, and his traditional rival Lionel Messi, his counterpart at Inter Miami.
But Ronaldo was absent from Al-Nasr’s roster due to injury, which also kept him from the team’s preparatory tour in China and led to its cancellation, as he was content to attend the match from the main booth of the Kingdom Arena.
Meanwhile, Messi was absent from the starting lineup, and came on as a substitute 8 minutes before the end, when the score indicated a 6-0 lead for Al-Nassr, noting that his name was not on the list of substitutes that the American club announced before the match.
The Victory Six scored Otavio, Anderson Talisca (hat-trick), Aymeric Laporte, and Mohamed Maran in the 3rd, 10th, 12th, 51st, 68th, and 73rd minutes.
Al-Nasr is scheduled to meet its neighbor Al-Hilal on the same stadium in the final match of the Riyadh Season Cup next Thursday.
The winner of this match will be crowned champion of the Riyadh Season Cup, after Al Hilal, in turn, defeated Inter Miami in the opening match 4-3 last Monday./End 9
