The World Food Programme announced that half a million people in the Gaza Strip are facing catastrophic levels of hunger, and that access to humanitarian aid is not guaranteed.
The UN program said in a post on its account on the “X” platform: “Palestinian families in Gaza often do not receive full food rations on a continuous basis,” explaining that “the unreliable access to humanitarian aid and limited stocks prevent families in Gaza from obtaining the food rations they need.”
