Iconic filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry sits down for an interview with Justin Sylvester for TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle. He talks about revisiting the complicated couples of “Why Did I Get Married Again” in the third installment of the series. He also shares the reflections of his own life in the film, joking that he scared himself out of getting married by watching his own movie. Perry talks about going to therapy for the first time at age 54, and how his own views on love are reflected in his new film. “I think there is only one kind of love, and that’s real. If it’s real, it’s enough.” He also reveals that he plans to scale back from Hollywood life, and that is he is moving to Puerto Rico.
