The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, the neutralization of 15 terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in northern Syria and Iraq.
The ministry said in a statement: “The Turkish forces neutralized 5 PKK elements in the Gara region and the Operation Claw Lock area in northern Iraq, and 10 others in the areas of Operations Euphrates Shield and Peace Spring in northern Syria.”
The ministry confirmed that “the armed forces will continue their operations against the PKK militants in northern Syria and Iraq.”
Yesterday, Thursday, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced the neutralization of 72 militants from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party during operations carried out by Turkish forces in the last seven days.
Until yesterday, the number of workers who have been neutralized since January 1st has reached 1,427, including 681 in northern Iraq and 746 in northern Syria.
