Baghdad/NinaThe Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, the results of the latest operation it launched against sites in northern Iraq and Syria against the PKK organization.
The ministry stated in a brief statement that it “destroyed 25 sites and neutralized a large number of militants in an air operation against the PKK organization in northern Iraq and Syria.”
Earlier, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced that the number of neutralized militants in northern Iraq and Syria had risen to 23 from the PKK organization, in response to the killing of 9 Turkish soldiers during clashes with militants as they attempted to infiltrate a Turkish base in northern Iraq, in the area of Operation “Claw – Lock.” ./End 8
