Tunisian artist Soraya Bouganmi is participating in the Iraqi theatrical work (The House of Abu Abdullah) by director Anas Abdel Samad, which will be shown this Saturday evening on the stage of the Al-Rashid Theater, as part of the activities of the Arab Theater Festival organized by the Arab Theater Authority.

Boganmi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I was assigned a main character, the role of the mother, with which the director wanted to convey several ideas through this character,” explaining: “I did not face difficulty with the language, because the work is based on movement and visual language.”
He added, “Iraqi theater is very different from other performances, according to my observations and through my personal experience from director Anas Abdel Samad, who added many ideas to my artistic career and opened horizons for me to look at directing and artistic practice in a distinctive way, with more openness and maturity, and this stems from experience.” And learn about his works, contributions, and workshops based on them.”
