The Independent High Authority for Elections in Tunisia revealed that it will begin preparations for the presidential elections, which are expected to be held during the last quarter of the current year.

The authority’s spokesman, Muhammad al-Talili al-Mansri, said that the authority will begin preparations for the presidential elections immediately after the establishment of the “National Council of Regions and Regions” is completed.
On the sidelines of a press conference organized by the Commission on Sunday morning, in the Tunisian capital, to announce data related to the local council elections, he expected that the presidential elections would be held next September or October, and will likely be in October, as Tunisia has done since 2011.
