The Asian Football Confederation Referees Committee assigned the task of leading the match between our team and its Vietnamese counterpart to Malaysian referee Mohamed Nazmi Nasr al-Din.
Our national team, which aspires to win its second title in the Asian Nations after the 2007 edition of the competition, is at the top of the group with 6 points, ahead of the Japanese national team, which has 4 titles in the competition, and Indonesia, who are in second and third place respectively, while Vietnam is at the bottom with no points. The competition regulations stipulate that the winner and runner-up of each of the six groups in the tournament will qualify, in addition to the four best third-place teams.
