A new batch of documents related to the sexual abuse of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was released Friday afternoon.
The additional documents, totaling more than 400 pages, are in addition to more than 1,200 pages of documents that were unsealed late Wednesday and Thursday, the first release of which sparked an online frenzy that crashed entire websites. A website that hosts files.
Some of the high-profile figures named in court documents so far include Prince Andrew, former US President Bill Clinton, singer Michael Jackson and magician David Copperfield.
The names were included in court documents filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre in her lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell. The documents include excerpts from depositions and motions in the case. Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of sex trafficking and similar charges of pimping for Epstein.
Before being unsealed, the names were listed in court documents as variations of “Jane Doe.” Many of the names are people who were publicly identified as Epstein associates before this unsealing.
