The Civil Defense Directorate in Erbil confirmed today, Tuesday, that there have been no deaths so far in the “Al-Bala” market fire, while indicating that the material losses are large.

Civil Defense spokesman, Karwan Mirawoda Lee, told media outlets, including the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Civil Defense is working to extinguish the fire that broke out in the used clothes market on Street 100,” noting that “the material losses are great.”
He added, “There are no casualties, and the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.”
