Baqubah / Nina / A source in Diyala’s water resources announced that the border dams east of Diyala were full after a wave of Iranian torrential rains.
The source told the correspondent of the Iraqi National News Agency: Nina The border irrigation dams east of Diyala were completely filled with a rate of 44 million cubic meters of water as a result of the torrential floods that continued for several days.
He added that the technical teams in Diyala Resources succeeded in passing 9 flood waves in the regions north, northeast, and east of Diyala, without affecting the cities and their villages. Pointing out that the water storage in Diyala has witnessed an improvement due to the waves of torrential rains, which will enhance the security of water ration needs during the summer season./End
