Baghdad/NinaThe US Army announced on Friday that it had destroyed nine anti-ship ballistic missiles and two Houthi drones in Yemen.
The US Central Military Command (Centcom) said in a statement that these weapons were destroyed after the Houthis fired four anti-ship ballistic missiles, two of which landed in the Gulf of Aden and the remaining two in the Red Sea, without any of them causing damage.
She noted that “the Houthis launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles from the areas under their control in Yemen towards the Gulf of Aden, in addition to two anti-ship missiles towards the Red Sea.”
She added that “no casualties or damage were reported by American or coalition ships.”/End 8
