Baghdad / NinaThe Pentagon announced on Tuesday that the United States does not plan to send forces to fight against Russia in Ukraine.
Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said during a press conference: “To be clear, we have no plans to send American forces to fight in Ukraine, and President Biden is clear on this point, and this remains our position.”
Ryder added: “Even before the start of the Russian special operation, Biden announced that he would not send American forces to fight in Ukraine.”
For his part, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller stated that Washington will not send American forces to Ukraine.
Miller told reporters, commenting on the statements of former NATO Secretary-General Anders Rasmussen: “Washington will not send American forces to Ukraine.”/ End 9
