Baghdad/ Nina/ The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Tuesday, at Baghdad Palace, his Armenian counterpart, Vahakin Khachaturian, and his accompanying delegation.
The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement, “An official reception ceremony was held during which the national anthems of the two countries were played, after which the honor guard was reviewed, and then the president and his guest shook hands with the delegations of the two countries.”
She added, “The President of the Republic and the Armenian President will hold bilateral and expanded discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.”
