The sports newspaper “Marca” revealed that veteran Spanish international defender Nacho Fernandez signed his contracts today, Monday, to join Al-Qadisiyah Saudi Arabia, coming from Real Madrid, in a free transfer deal.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Nacho, who is currently with the Spain national team to participate in the European Nations Cup, has signed with Al-Qadisiyah for two years.
She explained that Nacho will receive 10 million euros as an annual salary with the newly promoted team to the Saudi Roshen League.
Nacho was close to joining the Jeddah Federation, but negotiations between the two parties stopped suddenly.
Nacho’s contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30, and the veteran defender previously confirmed that he wants to leave the royal team to have a new experience in his career.
It is noteworthy that Nacho (34 years old) participated in 45 matches for Real Madrid in all competitions last season, and assisted one goal in the Spanish League.
