Baghdad/NinaPrime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met this Saturday evening with a group of clerics, tribal sheikhs and notables, hosted by the leader of the Sheikh sect, Abdel-Al al-Musawi, in Basra Governorate.
Al-Sudani expressed, in his speech to the present gathering, his appreciation for the spirit of brotherhood and unity that brings together the people of Basra from all authentic Iraqi sects, describing this diversity as a factor of unity and strength, and confirms the cohesion of our Iraqi society in all governorates, citing the historical stance taken by all Iraqis in the face of the threat ISIS terrorist organization, and they were able to defeat it.
Al-Sudani pointed out that these visits come to identify all the needs of the people of the governorate, and to follow up on the implementation of the government program, as the prosperity of Basra, with its specificity, is a gateway to the prosperity of all parts of Iraq.
Al-Sudani stressed the importance of the cohesion of all social figures, tribal sheikhs, and societal forces with the efforts of our security forces as they preserve Basra’s security and stability, and extend the rule of law and the strength of state institutions, stressing the availability of opportunities that ensure a renaissance in the level of well-being, consolidating security and social justice, and meeting the aspirations of citizens. . /End 8
