The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani received, this evening, Monday, the delegation of the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate, headed by the Head of the Teachers Syndicate, Uday al-Issawi, and at the beginning of the meeting, he offered congratulations to the Syndicate’s President and members of the Syndicate’s Council.” On the occasion of their election to membership in the Syndicate Council.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister praised “the role of educational staff and their efforts in the educational process,” stressing “his full support for all demands, programs and initiatives that would improve the educational reality in various governorates, in addition to providing everything that improves the living reality of educational staff.” Especially with regard to providing them with adequate housing.”
Al-Sudani pointed out “the importance of the union in developing the education sectors and strengthening the relationship and cooperation with the Ministry of Education,” stressing “the need for workers in the union to take the initiative to support building the state, as they represent a large and important segment in building society.”
