The Department of Media and Government Communications in Baghdad Governorate stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani sponsored the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Investment Authority and the Korean Hanwha Company to resume work in the residential city of Bismaya, during his visit to the city this morning.” Monday.”
The Governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, said during his participation in the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding, and according to the statement, “The Prime Minister pays great attention to addressing the housing crisis in the capital, Baghdad.”
Al-Alawi pointed out that “Al-Sudani is very supportive of the work of the local government of Baghdad, as he stressed the importance of advancing the services file in Baghdad Governorate through fruitful and lasting cooperation with the ministries and concerned authorities, and implementing actual projects to serve the honorable citizens.”
The visit witnessed the Prime Minister meeting with a group of residents of the city of Bismayah, and listened to their comments regarding the services provided and directed their follow-up. He also distributed a number of housing unit sales bonds to new buyers.
