The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani opened in Basra a urea fertilizer factory, with a production capacity of (1,000) tons per day, and a dab fertilizer factory with a capacity of (500) thousand tons.” Annually, affiliated with the General Company for Southern Fertilizer Industry.
