Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani congratulated Al-Sudani on the occasion of the centenary of the Iraqi Constituent Assembly.

Al-Sudani said in his blog post on the “X” platform, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We congratulate the legislative authority, represented by the House of Representatives, on the occasion of the centenary of the Iraqi Constituent Assembly (1924), and the writing of the first basic law for the modern Iraqi state.”
He added, “Iraq was and remains ahead of its peers in writing its constitution, enacting laws, and consolidating democracy under our permanent constitution.”
He stressed “cooperation and bilateral work between the government and the House of Representatives to serve our people with all their spectrums and cohesive national forces, and to protect and preserve their gains.”
