The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received members of the House of Representatives from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan parliamentary bloc, in the presence of the Ministers of Environment and Justice, and during the meeting, the general conditions throughout the country were discussed.” “And the government’s measures aimed at developing the economic sector, and its efforts to improve services and ensure a decent living for citizens throughout Iraq, in accordance with the priorities included in the government program in this aspect.”
He added, “The meeting witnessed an emphasis on the necessity of integrating the relationship between the executive and legislative authorities, and the importance of continuous coordination in order to legislate laws that support the work of the government and address the obstacles facing the implementation of projects, programs and plans in various sectors.”
The Prime Minister indicated, according to the statement, “to begin financing the region in accordance with the decision of the Federal Court in this regard, and to follow up on the procedures between the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, with regard to the localization of the salaries of the region’s employees in order to continue paying them.”
He continued, “It was also emphasized to continue dialogues between the federal government and the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government regarding common files, and that the solutions be in accordance with what was stipulated in the Constitution, and that the interests of citizens and their demands be at the forefront of the targets, and that all efforts be made to enhance internal stability and advance the wheel of development.” Economic and social forward.
