The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani concluded his visit to Dhi Qar Governorate, which included:
■ Opening the first schools of the Iraqi-Chinese agreement project out of 106 model schools allocated to the governorate.
■ Opening of (Ya Hussein) Road in central Nasiriyah, in its two sections.
■ Field follow-up of the local administration stadium project.
■ Field follow-up of the rehabilitation project of Nasiriyah Corniche and the Zaytoun Martyrs Suspension Bridge.
■ Field follow-up of the ongoing work in the Nasiriyah International Airport rehabilitation project.
■ Announcing the Souq Al-Shuyoukh Hospital project with a capacity of 100 beds.
■ Announcing the Al-Rifai Hospital project with a capacity of 100 beds.
■ Announcing the integrated infrastructure project for Souk Al-Shuyoukh.
■ Announcing a medical city project that includes specialized centers in Nasiriyah.
■ Announcing a project to deliver drinking water to Sayed Dakhil district.
■ Announcing a new residential city project with 30,000 housing units.
■ Announcing the project to design and implement Batha sewers.
■ Announcing quick service projects implemented by the service and engineering effort.
■ Visit the ancient city of Ur and follow up on infrastructure projects for the entertainment and tourist attractions attached to it.
■ Meeting with the governorate’s security and military leaders.
■ Meeting with the heads and directors of the governorate’s service and municipal departments.
■ Meeting with tribal sheikhs and notables of the governorate.
■ Meeting with members of the House of Representatives from Dhi Qar Governorate.
■ Meeting with a number of activists and announcing that (4) thousand of the people of the governorate who are protesting will be included in appointment within the governorate’s share of the 150,000 job grades, which were mentioned in the federal budget law.
