The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani met this evening, Saturday, with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, and during the meeting they discussed the general conditions in the country and followed up on the most prominent measures related to Combating administrative and financial corruption and the importance of coordination in combating crime in all its forms.”
He added, “The meeting witnessed an emphasis on the importance of strengthening cooperation and integration between the executive and judicial authorities, with the aim of consolidating the rule of law and strengthening judicial procedures, which contributes to consolidating security and stability throughout the country and enhances the government’s completion of the goals of its executive program and its service, development, and social priorities.”
