Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani affirmed Iraq’s openness to strengthen its relations with Lebanon in all fields.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, today, Sunday, the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Al-Haj Hassan.”
The Prime Minister affirmed, according to the statement, “Iraq’s openness to strengthening its relations with Lebanon in all fields, especially in the economic, agricultural and investment fields,” noting “the existence of many investment opportunities that can achieve mutual benefit.”
He stressed “the importance of confronting the effects of environmental changes and combating desertification that our region suffers from, which requires developing joint strategies in order to get rid of the negative effects of climate change.”
