Baghdad/ Nina/ The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, on Monday, condemned the assassination of the Sadrist activist “Isser Al-Khafaji” in Babil Governorate, while stressing: “This operation threatens peaceful coexistence and represents a violation of the rule of law and the prestige of the state.”
Rashid said in a blog post on the X website: “We strongly condemn the assassination of activist Ayser Al-Khafaji,” stressing that “the assassination threatens security, stability and peaceful coexistence and represents a violation of the rule of law and the prestige of the state.”
Rashid called on the relevant authorities to investigate and uncover the circumstances of the accident. He also called on the security forces to strengthen the necessary measures to protect the security and safety of citizens./End 8
