The Border Ports Authority announced the seizure of a wheel outside the customs campus at the search and investigation point at the Shalamcheh border crossing loaded with fish feed material (pelt) in violation of import terms and controls and prepared for smuggling.
The authority stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that “by inspecting the goods and auditing the completed customs transaction, it was found that the expiration of the material along with the offer was examined by the Animal Wealth Department, Quality Control Department.”
She added, “A formal seizure report was prepared and the wheel and customs transaction were referred to the Shalamcheh Customs Police Station to be presented before the investigating judge to take legal measures and hold the negligent parties accountable.”
