Baghdad Nina/ The General Company for Iraqi Ports announced that it had completed the graduation of 3 giant cranes out of 9 for the Ministry of Oil and they were transported in accordance with internationally followed standards.
The company’s general manager, Engineer Farhan Al-Fartousi, said in a statement: The technical staff at the northern port of Umm Qasr succeeded in graduating 3 giant weighted rigs today out of 9 for the Ministry of Oil, and they were transported from the welcome yard to the storage site completely and in a manner that was done in accordance with the standards followed internationally in transporting heavy equipment through mechanisms. Specialized.”
He added, “The personnel of machinery, electricity, and the International Code had a major role in transporting the giant burdens without any error, despite the conflict between the electrical wires due to their height. However, the electrical personnel in the port raised the electrical wires to allow the passage of the burdens safely and securely.”
It is noteworthy that the total size of the weights reaches 28,536,708 meters and weighs more than 2,670 tons./End H
