Baghdad / NinaThe Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Thursday, “strongly condemned the American terrorist act inside Iraqi territory, which led to the martyrdom of a number of resistance fighters, including Abu Baqir al-Saadi.”
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a statement, “This act is evidence of the terrorism of the American government, a violation of national sovereignty and the unity of Iraq, and a violation of international laws,” according to the Iranian Tasnim Agency.
Kanaani added, “The American hostile action is a continuation of America’s full support for the Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people,” stressing that “the continuation of American adventures threatens regional and international peace and security.”
Earlier today, the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades announced the martyrdom of the leader, Abu Baqir Al-Saadi, as a result of an American bombing in the Al-Mashtal area, east of the capital, Baghdad./End 9
