The Ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “some social networking sites circulated news about the existence of (an announcement from the Volunteer Directorate about the opening of applications to volunteer in the ranks of the Internal Security Forces as a (policeman) on the staff of the Border Guard Forces Command/First District.”) With (9,500) police officers in all governorates, we deny this incorrect information.”
She added, “We also reiterate our emphasis on the necessity of obtaining information exclusively from official sources and adopting the reliable websites of the Ministry of Interior.”
