Today, Sunday, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, threatened the killers of the late Colonel “Ali Hamid Abdul Jaber” in Maysan with retribution soon.
Al-Shammari said in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, “With great sadness and sorrow, we received the news of the martyrdom of (Colonel Ali Hamid Abdul Jaber), one of the heroes of the Tenth Border Brigade in Maysan Governorate, as a result of a treacherous and cowardly accident.”
He added: “While we mourn this brave officer who has become an extension of the great sacrifices in the path of the Ministry of Interior, we affirm that retribution against the criminals who committed this cowardly act will be soon.”
