Baghdad/ Nina/ The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, announced the success of the security plan to visit the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
Al-Shammari said in a statement: Over the course of continuous days, there were great efforts to make the anniversary of the visit of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, a success, in which security units from various formations and categories participated in high-level coordination with government and supporting agencies according to a plan drawn up by the Supreme Security Committee to secure the rugby visit.
He added: The security services have proven once again that they are up to the responsibility in securing million-dollar events after they combined day and night to provide services to visitors heading to the shrine of the two imams who ruled over them.
The Minister appreciated the professional performance of our security formations, which spared no effort to complete the visit ceremonies and to prevail in the spirit of fruitful cooperation among them, as witnessed by our honorable people and the guests of Iraq.
He thanked and appreciated the security forces participating in the plan to secure the visit of Imam Musa bin Jaafar, peace be upon him, on the anniversary of his martyrdom, and congratulated all security formations on the success of the security plan and the absence of any loopholes that would disturb the peace of the visit and the security of the visitors.
He also praised the great efforts made by the Holy Shrine of Kadhimiya, as well as the owners of the processions, through full cooperation with the security services to provide the best services to visitors.
He concluded his statement by saying: On this occasion from which we draw lessons, I seize the opportunity and pray to God Almighty to protect Iraq and its people and make this country safe.
