The Ministry of Immigration stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, met with the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in the UAE, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Excellency the Iraqi Ambassador to the Emirates, Muzaffar Mustafa Al-Jubouri, and the Consul General.” For the Republic of Iraq in Dubai, Imad Abdel Hamid Mohammed, and during the meeting, cooperation and joint coordination were discussed in the fields of humanitarian work and interest in promoting the values of tolerance and institutional and societal coexistence, for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
During the meeting, the Minister praised “the distinguished work of the sisterly UAE within the framework of supporting the values and principles of tolerance and peace.”
For his part, “the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence stressed his country’s government’s interest in establishing the best relations with Iraq and strengthening them for the better.”
