Al-Jubouri said to the “The Eighth Bag” program, which is shown on the Al-Iraqiya channel, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “there is great cooperation and support from the Prime Minister to the Ministry of Education to overcome many obstacles,” pointing out that “the Ministry of Education needs the ability of a state to solve the problems.” that you are suffering from.”
He added, “There is complete concerted government efforts towards the Ministry of Education, especially with regard to infrastructure,” stressing that “the abundance of school curricula is the most important obstacle facing the Ministry.”
He continued, “We have returned the school curricula to the correct track, as the scientific curricula are linked to international standards and classifications,” pointing to “establishing a working mechanism for training teachers and teaching staff.”
He pointed out that “one of the problems facing the Ministry of Education is infrastructure,” noting that “most of the schools that were completed in 2023 were equipped with modern teaching aids.”
He pointed out that “the Ministry needs 10,000 schools so that the single-hour schedule becomes regular in all governorates,” stressing that “nearly a thousand schools will be completed and about two thousand schools will be rehabilitated during the year 2023.”
He explained, “The Ministry’s Project Number One has been launched after it had been halted for years,” noting that “The Ministry’s Project Number One will take over 600 schools.”
He pointed out that “by the end of the year 2024, the Ministry will receive a large number of schools as part of the Chinese loan,” stressing that “the Development Fund will have the largest share of it for the Ministry of Education, as it will adopt the establishment of about 5,000 schools that will be announced soon.”
He stated that “there is great cooperation from the government and governorates regarding the infrastructure of the Ministry of Education,” adding: “Approximately 2,500 schools will be completed by the end of 2024.”
Al-Jubouri stressed that “the problem of all school buildings will be solved at the end of the year 2025,” noting that “the tripartite budget solved the problem of printing school curricula.”
He continued, “The schools have been 100 percent equipped with books, and we will enter into a new contract to print books for next year.”
