The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, directed the senior educational leaders to submit the lists of contractors for approval as soon as possible.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, issued during his meeting with the undersecretaries and general directors of education and the ministry’s office a number of constructive directives and recommendations, the most prominent of which was to expedite the submission of lists of contractors for the purpose of approving them and to expedite their distribution according to actual need and to confirm their directness and to review the mechanism for accepting the talented and choosing the competent cadres who will lead a generation of scientists in the future.”
She added, “The Minister of Education also discussed the mechanisms for preparing for the opening of the first sports secondary school in Iraq, the stages of preparing its curricula, the rates of printing school books, and increasing the pace of work to complete and activate stalled projects before the start of the new school year, and following up on performance to determine the reasons for the delay and hold those who stall accountable.”
The ministry continued, “While Al-Jubouri listened to the administrative proposals and challenges facing institutional work and ways to overcome obstacles to advance the educational sector, he directed the general managers to discuss the cadres to participate in the largest national population census campaign and contribute to serving the country to make this unique mission a success.”
