Baghdad/ Nina/ The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, chaired a meeting today, Saturday, of the advanced staff of the ministry to discuss a number of topics raised on the meeting’s agenda.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the necessity of completing all modern and advanced automation projects in the ministry’s formations in a manner consistent with the tasks of each formation to eliminate routine and bureaucracy in order to simplify work procedures.
He directed, “to form a committee headed by Economic Agent Ghassan Farhan Hamid and the public departments in the control and legal departments and to plan to come up with a joint formula on building storage capacities for grains, as well as directing the strengthening of the studies departments in the formations to improve performance and prepare studies that serve the economic and commercial policy of the country.”
The Ministry stated in a statement carried by the media office that “the meeting discussed the topics on its agenda, which are (procedures for establishing a free zone to create a turning point in car showrooms and auctions, programs to control mills and silos electronically, grain storage and building storage capacities, electronic transformation procedures, and mechanisms.” POS electronic payment, preparing a work plan to facilitate trade exchange with countries around the world, and establishing destruction and write-off committees./End 8
