The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kadhim, announced today, Saturday, the preparation of the service plan for the visit to the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).

A statement from the secretariat received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: “The Mayor of Baghdad discussed, during his chairmanship of an expanded meeting with the general directors, the ongoing preparations for preparing the service plan for receiving crowds of millions to commemorate the visit of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), in coordination with the security services, the relevant ministries and the secretariat.” The Holy Kadhimiya Shrine and the Hussein processions to provide the best services to visitors arriving on foot from the regions of Baghdad and all governorates of the country, in addition to visitors coming from outside the country.
He added, “The plan will be launched through the operations room formed at the headquarters of the Al-Kadhimiya Municipality, starting from the second of next February and will continue until after the end of the visitation ceremony, and there will be a follow-up of the movement of distributing specialized vehicles through the GPS system.”
He pointed out, “The Mayor of Baghdad directed that the city of Kadhimiya be divided into 9 districts, so that each municipality or two municipalities would receive one of the districts to manage it completely, and each general director would manage one of them, in addition to the supporting effort that would be provided to each district, with the presence of the agents of the Baghdad Municipality for Technical and Administrative Affairs to supervise the work.” A number of important incisors.
The statement continued, “The Mayor of Baghdad directed the involvement of more than 1,800 cleaners and 80 rakes to collect waste, along with a number of water transport basins and other specialized machinery, and the preparation of maintenance workshops and the necessary fuel for them, along with the distribution of metric waste containers on the visitors’ routes and near the Hussein processions.”
He explained, “The Mayor of Baghdad also directed to express full cooperation with the volunteer teams and equip them with all necessary equipment, while paying attention to awareness campaigns within the routes of passage of visitors and cooperating with Husseini processions.”
The statement concluded, “The Secretary instructed the Baghdad Water Department to increase water pumping to the city of Al-Kadhimiya during the period of the visit and to prepare the Al-Atifiyah and Al-Kadhimiya water projects with sufficient quantities of alum and chlorine and prepare them to operate at their maximum capacity.”
