Dhi Qar Intelligence Director, Brigadier General Aziz Shalal, was martyred today, Sunday, as a result of the outbreak of an armed tribal conflict in the governorate.
Al-Rasheed’s correspondent said, “An armed tribal conflict broke out between the Al-Omar and Al-Rumayd clans in Al-Islah District in Dhi Qar Governorate.”
He added, “The Director of Dhi Qar Intelligence, Brigadier General Aziz Shalal, was martyred during the conflict resolution process,” noting that “a large security force led by the Dhi Qar Police Chief headed to the Islah District to control the tribal conflict.”
