Baghdad / Nina/ The President of the Iraqi Football Federation, “Adnan Darjal,” on behalf of the Al-Ittihad family, congratulated the Al-Kahraba Club management, the coaching staff, and the players after the deserved victory the team achieved over the Lebanese Al-Ahed team, with a free goal, in the AFC Cup.
Darjal said in a statement: “The victory was achieved after the players of the Kahraba team made wonderful efforts that culminated in a well-deserved victory on the continental level.”
He added: “The victory placed the representative of the nation, the Kahraba team, in front of a historic responsibility to reach the final match… I hope to continue the journey in a positive way, and reflect a true image of this young team that is playing for the first time at the continental level.”/ End 9
