The media center of the Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The President of the Baghdad Al-Karkh Court of Appeal, Khaled Taha, received these data from the international investigation team “UNITAD” at the headquarters of the appeal, in the presence of the Deputy President of the Appeal, Ali Hussein Jafat, the first judge of the court. He added, “This data was delivered to the Supreme Judicial Council based on the Security Council resolution for the purpose of using it in the Iraqi courts, as this achievement is considered within the frameworks of joint cooperation between the judiciary and the international investigation team.”
For his part, the head of the appeal stressed “the necessity of continued cooperation with the international investigation team (UNITAD) and international organizations working inside Iraq and providing their support to the judiciary.”
