Baghdad/ NinaToday, Monday, members of the Jordanian House of Representatives elected Council Member Ahmed Al-Safadi as Speaker of the Council after obtaining 98 votes, representing the majority of the votes in the Council.
In addition to Al-Safadi, Representative Saleh Al-Armouti was nominated for the position of presidency of the Council, who received 37 votes, while two ballots were cancelled, and the last ballot was registered for a representative who was absent from the session.
