Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Interior revealed its plan for New Year’s celebrations.
The ministry’s official spokesman, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri al-Moussawi, said in an interview with the official agency, followed by Al-Rasheed, that “the ministry’s plan includes preparing and deploying security services to secure all vital areas, parks, and places where celebrations are held.”
He pointed out that “anyone issued an order violating the law, legal measures will be taken against him, whether it is harassment, assault, any violation, or setting off fireworks in an exaggerated manner.”
He pointed out that “the security services will deal with any violation of the law during New Year’s celebrations, and appropriate action will be taken against violators.”
