Baghdad/NinaThe Ministry of Communications announced that the infrastructure of the General Telecommunications and Informatics Company for the project to equip citizens with Internet service using optical cable technology (FTTH) on the Rusafa side was subjected to acts of sabotage.
The ministry stated in a statement: “The infrastructure of the Ministry of Communications/General Communications and Informatics Company for the project to equip citizens with Internet service using optical cable technology (FTTH) on the Rusafa side was subjected to acts of sabotage carried out by a group that does not want good and development for our country and our people, especially after the great success of the cable projects.” “The projector light, and the approval it received from citizens in all governorates and regions in which the projects were operated.”
She explained, “This month, a number of optical booths in three areas next to Rusafa (Al-Habibiyah – Al-Baladiyat – Al-Amin) were exposed to acts of sabotage that led to them being out of service for a period of time until maintenance work was completed, so that service would return to what it was as quickly as possible.”
The Ministry of Communications called on the security services to take their role in protecting the Ministry’s infrastructure, as it is the property of the state, and to pursue those who dare to harm public property in order to obtain their just punishment./End 7
